Polestar is a Swedish premium electric performance car brand founded by Volvo Cars and Geely Holding. Its first fully electric, high-volume car, the Polestar 2, offers three variants with up to 82 kWh batteries, 335 kW, and 740 Nm. Polestar plans to release a new electric vehicle annually, starting with the Polestar 3 in October 2022, followed by the Polestar 4 and 5 in 2023 and 2024, respectively. The company aims to reduce its climate impact with each new model and produce a climate-neutral car by 2030, the Polestar 0 project.
